Calgary, AB (March 6, 2017)<\/b> Lyryx Learning has received an honorable mention as part of the 2017 OE Awards with the Open Education Consortium.\u00a0 This honorable mention is in recognition of our strengths and initiatives with Open Textbooks.<\/p>\n

In response to this recognition Lyryx wants to bring further awareness to the importance of open educational resources (OER) for the future of education. The OER movement will continue to break barriers with innovation and progressive advancement.<\/p>\n

“It is an honor to be recognized by the Open Education Consortium” says Claude Laflamme, Founder and CEO of Lyryx Learning. “It means a lot to know that a global platform like OEC notices our contribution to advancing learning through open resources and affordable assessments. The Open Education Consortium is a global network of educational institutions, individuals and organizations that support an approach to education based on openness, including collaboration, innovation and collective development and use of open educational materials. The OE Awards for Excellence have been recognizing innovation in open education resources since 2011.<\/p>\n
