Open Educational Resources (OER)

Openly licensed textbooks and other educational material are bringing unprecedented opportunities to the higher education classroom: students can now readily access quality and affordable course material, while instructors can adapt the content as they wish and make updates whenever they feel the need.

Lyryx is strengthening OER by developing a sustainable model for the development, maintenance, adaptation, and distribution of quality open materials. Our editorial group works with subject matter experts, students and educators to create, adapt and maintain OER which are then made freely available to all. To support this mission, we develop and provide value-added services at affordable cost: high-quality online homework, instructor and student support, technical support, and editorial services.

Please contact us if you are interested in using or contributing to any resources!

You will find below some selected links for further information on OER, including where to find them, which organizations are supporting them, some key research on OER, and some meetings and conferences where you will find Lyryx!
