When I try to open a Lab, why does the system tell me that I have saved data?

When I try to open a Lab, the system tells me that I have saved data:

This message (as seen above) indicates that you have saved a Lab and are attempting to run a new Lab. You can save and resume a Lab as many times as you want, but you can only have one saved or active Lab in the system at a time.

When you have saved a Lab and attempt to start a new one, three options are available.

  • Resume: To resume your saved Lab and continue where you had left off, click Resume. This will open the Lab with the saved data. Complete the Lab, then click SUBMIT AND MARK to submit your work.
  • Overwrite: To erase your saved answers and start the new Lab that you were trying to open, click Overwrite. This will discard the Lab that you have saved previously, and allow you to open the new Lab.
  • Cancel: To do nothing and go back to the screen that lists your Labs, click Cancel. This will not open your saved Lab or start a new Lab.
