Tips for Inputting Answers in Labs and Examinations

- To input answers into a text box: Click on the blank box to open it, and type your answer. Then, either press the Enter key or click on an area outside the box.
- Some questions may require you to select an item from a drop-down menu or to make a selection with a radio button.
- Shaded areas indicate where your answers should be entered.
- You can use the Shift+Arrow keys to move an input box if it is blocking part of a question that you are trying to read.
- When you have one input box open, you can move to the next input box by using the Ctrl+Arrow keys. The Tab key on the keyboard also moves you forward through input boxes.
- To cancel any changes and leave the previous answer as it is, press the Escape key on the keyboard.
